lifechurch.tv

Last weekend, Jess and I attended LifeChurch.tv’s internet campus for the first time. It was an interesting experience. We’ve visited one of their physical locations here in Tulsa, but hadn’t experienced their internet service.

Greg Atkinson over at ChurchVideoIdeas.com happened to review the same service on his blog this week. He reviewed LifeChurch.tv’s internet campus along with three others. Check it out!

We both really liked the service. At first, it was a little awkward standing and worshiping in our home office, in front of a laptop and studio monitors. But we just went with it. The transitions from worship, to opening welcome, and the message were very smooth. I was incredibly impressed by the look and feel of the experience. In many ways it felt like a real church service. You can even chat with people out in the “lobby“ before the service starts! My favorite part was the “Raise Your Hand“ button that everyone  can press to indicate that you’re online and attending the service. There were around 250 other people attending with us on Sunday.

We tried it because I was fighting a cold and didn’t feel like dragging myself out to church. But after experiencing Lifechurch.tv’s internet service, we’ll likely attend again.
